Abstract

The Indian agriculture sector has been witnessing a decelerating growth recently. This demands a revival of methods and procedures and contract farming, extended to corporate farming, is one of the solutions to stimulate the growth in the sector. "Make in India", the slogan of our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi applies not only to the manufacturing sector, but also to agriculture (which has been our primary occupation for several centuries) where it means "Contract Farming".
