Environmental reporting is a serious issue, especially for large corporate houses of India having vast and dynamic activities; thus impacting socio-economic and environmental setup of the country as a whole. The reporting of actions taken for ensuring global sustainability and impairment of societal wealth ensured through business actions is extremely important for sustainable societal welfare. Indian automobile sector reveals mixed performance in this vital aspect. Social license to operate for corporate should be directly linked with status of sustainability reporting.Downloads
