Budget 2015: An Accent on Indirect Tax Reform

Concessions in the Direct tax levies resulted in a Revenue loss of Rs.8,315 crore. Additional Revenue is proposed to be mobilized by way of additional indirect tax levies to the tune of Rs.23,383 crore. To that extent, the tax proposals must be considered regressive.Downloads
