Budget Expectations

Abstract

Much is expected from the budget to be presented in July 2014. The common man, investors - Indian and foreign and the salaried class will be eagerly looking forward to the presentation of the budget from the new FM. The Government decided to set up a high level Special Investigation Team( SIT) to help unearth Black money stashed away abroad. The SIT would be headed by former Supreme Court Judge Justice M.B.Shah and another retired Supreme Court Judge Arijit Pasayat. It will have high ranking Government Officials from the Revenue Department, RBI, Intelligence Bureau, Enforcement Directorate, CBI, Chairman CBDT and Director of Financial Intelligence. The Supreme Court has been after the Government in this matter.
