Privatization of Public Sector Banks - A Boon or Bane

Abstract

Banking Industry India has undergone massive changes over time from the Pre-independence era to today’s environment to technological and socioeconomic changes, Government has taken various steps over time to achieve its monetary policy and another goal. In the current scenario Indian government is also mulling of privatization of PSBs. Accordingly, it provides a snapshot of a different era of the banking sector and analysis of government decision.
