The economic value of Bagasse improved in sugar business and it is a time to consider it as Joint Product. It is important to have a proper scientific method to calculate Bagasse Price for calculating correct Steam and Power cost. This paper illustrates four methods to calculate Bagasse Price for internal transfer of Bagasse from Sugar Plant to Co-generation plant. Correct bagasse price will help to evaluate cost of power generated in Co-generation vs other sources.Downloads
