The first ever mobile phone call in India was made just over 25 years ago in July 1995 and ushered in the mobile revolution in the country and changed the way we communicate, work, live, bank, buy, study and travel. From the early days of months’ long wait for a telephone connection to the on-demand mobile connections of today, the Indian telecom industry has come a long way. In this article we shall review some of the highlights of this glorious journey of 25 years that has changed each and every aspect of our lives.Downloads
