Abstract

Big data is the new technology wave that has to do with enormous amount of unstructured data triggered by the internet-enabled environment. Management accountants have for long learned to integrate structured, quantitative data. Executive leadership focused on data-driven decision making could facilitate introduction of big data with ease because the appetite to use data is already inherent in the mindset.
