Abstract

Micro-finance has been recognised as a cost-effective device for providing financial services to the unreached poor propounding not only meeting the financial needs of rural poor women but also strengthening the collective self-help capabilities of the poor leading to their empowerment. Micro- finance, as an effort towards financial inclusion, is finance provision for poor. Micro-resource, as an engine for inclusive growth, is an instrument for socio-economic development.
