Abstract

No BPR plan can evolve and meet its logical end until the IT systems and processes are put to effective use. A proper combination of both is sine qua non to ensure success in business enterprises. With computers becoming cheaper and powerful and software enabling all types of processes, the use of IT has moved these devices beyond computational purposes. It has, in fact, reduced the cost of coordination, communication and information processing.
