The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), over the past three decades, has been in the forefront of various reforms in relation to securities market, including insider trading. The new SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015 (PIT Regulations) is a major improvement over its predecessor formulated in 1992. One of the new reforms in the SEBI PIT Regulations is the Structured Digital Database. This article deals with compliance mechanism for ensuring the same and its related content.Downloads
