Public sector bank employees have been fighting a lonely battle against ever-increasing work stress over the last few years – a situation they neither anticipated nor prepared for. Using a sample of 228 respondents, the study investigates the precise factors affecting work stress experienced by public sector bank employees in Goa against the backdrop of the rapidly changing VUCA world. Role Conflict, Management Practices and the Banking Environment stamp themselves as predictors impacting work stress, while Customer Hostility and the VUCA world also emerge as closely related variables.Downloads
