Abstract

Angus Deaton, the Dwight D. Eisenhower Professor of Economics and International Affairs at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and the Economics Department at Princeton University received the Nobel Prize in Economics for the year 2015. Prof. Deaton is also a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, a globally renowned research organization that involves the best minds engaged with research and policy making. Angus Deaton, incidentally, has a great connection with India as well.
