Higher Education in India: Issues Relating to Expansion, Equity and Excellence

Despite a series of initiatives taken for planned development of the higher education system in India, particularly during the post- independent period, there are some issues that require immediate attention in order to fulfil the governing goals set for higher education across the country. the present work intends to analyze the higher education system in India in general, to understand with special reference how far the country has succeeded in achieving the three main issues that is; Expansion, Equity and Excellence.Downloads
