UPI is a system of real time money transfer in which a user can link his or her bank account to the app installed in the smartphone. Owing to the ease of payment, UPI has now become the most preferred digital payment platform. But incidents of fraud and compromised data privacy loom large over the digital ecosystem. This article delves into the meteoric rise in the volume of UPI transactions and the setbacks incidental to it.Downloads
