The challenges and hurdles for women entrepreneurs in the 21st century acquired diverse shape. There are lots of domestic and international marketing opportunities for women entrepreneurs. The dynamic business environment is fortified with various opportunities like technological advances, liberal societal culture, government support and availability of knowledge sources in the country. It looks like a favourable condition for growth of women entrepreneurs in India. Unfortunately, the real scenario is not that fine-looking. India still far behind South Asia and other countries in women entrepreneurship. This paper tries to find the past and current scenario of women entrepreneurs in India. Researcher also highlighted various challenges and hurdles in front of women entrepreneurs in the 21st century.Downloads
