Abstract

SMEs being one of the important segments of economy are expected to play an integral part of development creating avenues for sustainability. Either due to the scale of operations or lack of access to resources most of the time SMEs remain in isolation from growth, and few such other issues also act as factors detrimental for emerge as success Enterprises. One of such key issues concerning internally is adoption of Scientific and Rational Performance Appraisal Techniques that is receptive by their employees and value driving for their operations. With help of some of empirical evidences this study explores the challenges and issues concerning adoption of mutually acceptable performance evaluation tool and develops model for providing holistic development of employees and the organization; by accounting for the Strategic Contributions made by the employees in their Value Creations Function.
