Determinants of Total Factor Productivity Growtli of Agricultural Output

Abstract

It is a fact that total factor productivity (i.e. technical change) in agriculture is both a necessary and sufficient condition for the development of agriculture, question therefore arises what determine technical change in agriculture. The answer to this question will be helpful in making a distinction between agricultural strategy and policy instruments to achieve it and in identifying policy priorities for technical change.
